Andy's life isn't the best it could possibly be. A past that has left him with little trust for anybody he comes into contact with, means that his days are taken up avoiding as many people as possible. His small group of friends coax him out occasionally, but it's a battle to do so.

Working a night shift as security guard, his goal of solitude is largely a success, though it makes him far from happy. All of a sudden Kate drops into his life, and try as he might to keep away from her, it seems the decision is taken out of his hands as events force the two together.

Could Kate be his salvation from loneliness or just another stumbling block in his path?
