Makinov Film & Video is a full service video production company based in Nottingham. For over 15 years we have been working with big brands, SME’s educational institutions and charities in a variety of sectors from all over the country, creating engaging video content to promote their products and services.

We specialise in promotional, corporate, product, marketing and educational videos with a mix of video and animation to create content that elevates your brand and message to a wider audience.

This testimonial video for Interact Intranet featuring their client G4S is a bit of a good all round example. Not only does this act as a great testimonial video, it also functions as a short case study. I suggested your testimonials should be 30-40 seconds, but case studies may also be an option where there’s a bigger story to tell.

I think this is also a good example of what your profile film could look like in terms of tone.

This was one in a series of animations as part of an e-learning course for the UK IPO.

Other animations included patents, trademarks, designs and databases. Each one had a slightly different look to reflect the subject matter rather than keep them all completley uniform. But this one for Copyright is a good example of keeping informational animations simple and clean.

This short animation was one of several that formed parts of an e-learning course around New Consumer Duty for the Financial Conduct Authority.

Although this e-learning course and the animations we produced were intended for internal use, this type of animation would be extremely useful in simplifying some of the aspects of personal finance that some customers may find confusing.

What could we do for YOU?

A few years ago we had a conversation about incorporating video into the marketing for Janine’s business and I think a lot of what was discussed then still applies.

What was mentioned previously fit in to what we would normally recommend as a base level for the types of videos we think every business should consider utilising. For more information on those, they’re detailed below.

I suggested a 90 second profile film that would focus on you Janine, your expertise, your work with clients, networking, speaking events etc. really encompassing your experience and knowledge.

I also talked about 30-40 second testimonials from your clients that could be easily shared on social media channels as well as sitting well within your website.

And animated infographics that can not only illustrate and communicate achievements and milestones for your business, but also disseminate changes to policies and procedures for your clients. These could be shared via direct mail and social media channels.

With any project we know how important social media is and so all films are provided in platform friendly outputs to ensure that you can share your content in the highest possible quality. If required we can create outputs reformatted to different frame sizes for example portrait mode for Instragram stories / Tik Tok. We try and plan these requirements during the pre production phase not only so we can ensure we allow you the post production time needed, but so that we film your content in the best way possible to maximise flexibilty for your final outputs.
