Makinov Film & Video is a full service video production company based in Nottingham. For over 15 years we have been working with big brands, SME’s educational institutions and charities in a variety of sectors from all over the country, creating engaging video content to promote their products and services.

We specialise in promotional, corporate, product, marketing and educational videos with a mix of video and animation to create content that elevates your brand and message to a wider audience.

ZEISS Vision Care wanted a film that would highlight the problems around cleaning lenses with damaging fabrics. We produced this piece alongisde multiple social cut downs to show the benefits of using ZEISS Lens Wipes to maintain the quality of your lenses.

This was their first piece of B2C video marketing, having previously concentrated on B2B. We produced a variety of cuts of this in various runtimes across social platforms and languages.

Swift Clinic is a service that allows patients to receive GP consultations via video call to then be referred to relevant specialists.

We produced this short explainer as an initial introduction to the service, using clean, friendly and accessible animation.

This short animation was one of several that formed parts of an e-learning course around New Consumer Duty for the Financial Conduct Authority.

Although this e-learning course and the animations we produced were intended for internal use, this type of animation would be extremely useful in simplifying some of the aspects of personal finance that some customers may find confusing.

What could we do for YOU?

We spoke a few years ago regarding a brand film for Mansfield Building Society and I think that priority still stands, using real customers to sell what is great about banking with the MBS would be an invaluable source for reaching new customers and informing existing customers.

I think there is also an opportunity to create further engaging content to help promote everything you offer to your customers.

Customer focussed case studies would allow a longer form look at customer success stories. Talking to real people about the challenges they faced and how MBS helped them to overcome them. This could include customers setting up a new business or someone taking their first steps onto the property ladder.

In addition to these real world stories there is also space to create short, informative, jargon busting explainers on products and services.

These could be animated or a mix of a presenter and animation that succinctly communicates the benefits and finer details of different savings accounts, interest rates, mortgages etc. that can be easily shared via direct comms and social media.

The brand film would be a great piece to display on your homepage, whilst also sharable across social media channels. We can produce shorter versions and at various frame sizes, suitable again for social media sharing.
And that is true of any content whether case studies or testimonials. The channels available for reach are numerous. Including broadcast
TV should that be an avenue you wish to explore.

On the left you can view the broadcast advert for NWSLC. This will be it’s third year airing on national TV, we produced additional versions for social media as well an audio version for radio.

With any project we know how important social media is and so all films are provided in platform friendly outputs to ensure that you can share your content in the highest possible quality. If required we can create outputs reformatted to different frame sizes for example portrait mode for Instragram stories / Tik Tok. We try and plan these requirements during the pre production phase not only so we can ensure we allow you the post production time needed, but so that we film your content in the best way possible to maximise flexibilty for your final outputs.
