Makinov Film & Video is a full service video production company based in Nottingham. For over 15 years we have been working with big brands, SME’s educational institutions and charities in a variety of sectors from all over the country, creating engaging video content to promote their products and services.

We specialise in promotional, corporate, product, marketing and educational videos with a mix of video and animation to create content that elevates your brand and message to a wider audience.

ZEISS Vision Care wanted a film that would highlight the problems around cleaning lenses with damaging fabrics. We produced this piece alongisde multiple social cut downs to show the benefits of using ZEISS Lens Wipes to maintain the quality of your lenses.

This was their first piece of B2C video marketing, having previously concentrated on B2B. We produced a variety of different cuts of this in various runtimes across social platforms and languages.

Swift Clinic is a service that allows patients to receive GP consultations via video call to then be referred to relevant specialists.

We produced this short explainer as an initial introduction to the service, using clean, friendly and accessible animation.

What could we do for YOU?

We spoke a few years ago regarding a brand film for Mansfield Building Society and I think that that priority should still stand, using real customers to sell what is great about banking with the MBS is still where I believe the focus should be.

But I think there’s also an opportunity to create further engaging content to help promote everything you offer to your customers.

Customer focussed case studies would allow a longer form look at customer success stories. Talking to real people about the challenges they faced and how MBS helped them to overcome them. This could include customers setting up a new business or someone taking their first steps onto the property ladder.

In addition to these real world stories, I think there is also space to create short, informative, jargon busting explainers on products and services.

These could be animated or a mix of a presenter and animation that succinctly communicate the benefits and finer details of different savings accounts, interest rates, mortgages etc. that can be easily shared via direct comms and social media.

The Offer video is sometimes known as a Brand or Company video but with a key difference.

We want to make your customer the hero of your story.

This is not just a chance to show who you are and what your company does, most importantly it’s about outlining the problem that only you can solve, the positive impact that solution will have on your customers life, painting a compelling picture of the improvements it will provide them with.

The Case Study is an opportunity to go into your services in greater detail.

Explore and highlight the customers problem, show your solutions to solve these problems and the positive results that are achieved.

If you have a variety of products we recommend focussing on your main product for the case study initially and then look to produce further studies for additional products.

There is no one better to sing your praises than the customers that already love you.

It’s an opportunity to show real results in your customers own words, what they love about your service and how it has helped their lives.

With any project we know how important social media is and so all films are provided in platform friendly outputs to ensure that you can share your content in the highest possible quality. If required we can create outputs reformatted to different frame sizes for example portrait mode for Instragram sotries / Tik Tok. We try and plan these requirements during the pre production phase not only so we can ensure we allow you the post production time needed, but so that we film your content in the best way possible to maximise flexibilty four your final outputs.
